WRIGHT FINISHES STRONGER THAN HE STARTED
Tamworth is home to a new world-record-holder with Warren Wright completing his 24-hour cross trainer challenge.
The 41-year-old pushed himself to his limit, completing 276 kilometres during his journey, including an impressive 76 in the final quarter.
Wright felt he was struggling in the early hours of this morning, but says support from friends helped him through.
He’ll now take it easy until a Relay for Life event in Muswellbrook next month.
