MAN INJURED AFTER FALLING 9-METRES
A 24-year-old man is in a stable condition at John Hunter Hospital, after falling nine metres onto rocks at a popular Newcastle swimming spot.
Emergency services were called to the Bogey Hole just before midday.
Paramedics, police and firefighters assisted in the rescue, which at times proved tricky.
“Some areas were a little bit slippery with the slime on the rocks but we managed that by utilising various techniques to get him out,” said Roger McIvor from Fire and Rescue New South Wales.
