BAN LIFTED ON USE OF EVAPORATIVE AIR CONDITIONERS

This week council removed the ban on their use from the 2007 Drought Management Plan, due to the ‘highly oppressive’ conditions suffered during hot weather.
In the past operating one was forbidden while level five water restrictions were in place.
With Chaffey Dam’s water level sitting at 34 per cent, the tough restrictions could be enforced in the new year.
