Avoca’s Adrian Buchan and Matt Wilkinson both made it through to Round 4 of the Vans World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach this morning, but it was fellow local Glenn ‘Micro ‘ Hall who dominated the headlines.
Sitting in last place in his heat with a minute to go, Micro produced the ride of the day.
He somehow managed to come out of the barrel, before stringing together two turns to score a perfect ten, and advance into the next round.
