In other news, and a 19-year-old man has been charged over a string of attempted break-ins across Tamworth.
He’s one of two men who’re alleged to have stolen alcohol from a drive-through bottle shop on Kent Street on Sunday night.
Police say the pair then attempted to break into a bottle shop at the South Gate complex in the early hours of Monday morning, before smashing the front door of the Shell Service Station on Goonoo Goonoo Road.
The 19-year-old man was charged with nine offences, while police are still looking for his alleged accomplice.
