Supermarket giant Woolworths has continued its push for a store in Davistown, despite council rejecting the idea.
After Council voted against rezoning a block of land on the corner of Avoca Drive and Davistown Road in September, Woolworths have appealed the decision to the Department of Planning.
The proposal has drawn strong community opposition, and a rally protesting the project will be held on Saturday at Davistown RSL.
