GLOUCESTER COUNCIL APPROVES CAMPSITE FOR ANTI-CSG CAMPAIGNERS
Up to 200 people could soon be camping near AGL’s CSG project at Gloucester, after the council approved an application for a campsite on private land at Jacks Road.
Anti-CSG group, Groundswell Gloucester, lodged the application last month.
28 conditions have been placed on the site, including one that restricts the total number of campers to 200.
Another limits its operation to six months.
The council received more than 650 submissions in response to the application, with 121 opposed.
