The state Director of Public Prosecutions has launched an appeal into the sentencing of a man who caused the deaths of a man and his two children in a car crash in Dyraaba in June last year.
It comes after the Zagar family expressed outrage, with Malcolm Joseph Harris sentenced to four years and seven months behind bars, with a non parole period of two years.
He could walk free by 2016.
