A 34-year-old man is facing five charges, after police seized weapons and drugs from a car in Newcastle yesterday.
Just after midnight, officers pulled over a BMW sedan on Brunker Road at Adamstown.
They allegedly uncovered two loaded .22 calibre pen-style firearms and ammunition, knuckle dusters and more than six grams of amphetamines.
It’s also alleged cash and several mobile phones were found.
The man has been granted conditional bail and is due to face Newcastle Local Court on August 28.
