Police have charged a woman over the discovery of drugs in a home at East Maitland.
Police searched a unit on Narang Street yesterday afternoon, allegedly finding 31 plastic bags believed to contain cannabis and five bags containing what was suspected to be amphetamines.
A 56-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Maitland Police Station where she received bail to appear in Maitland Court next month.
