In Rugby Union, the Queensland Reds took their training session down the M-one this morning, to Currumbin Surf Life Saving Club.
It’s part of a player initiative to get them out of Ballymore and trying other sports.
So they swapped their uniforms for speedos, and were put through their paces by local Ironmen.
“It’s been a long pre season so far pretty hot up in brisbane so just thought it’d be a bit of a chance of scenery freshen things up a bit.”
“It’s pretty funny watching them jump on the skim and try and start paddling they just sink but they love it just have a good time catch a wave.”
The Reds kick off their 20-14 season in March.
