MONEY FOR HOSPITAL PLANNING
Wyong and Gosford Hospitals will undergo major renovations, with the New South Wales Government today announcing $1.8 million for the two projects.
Health Minister Jillian Skinner has committed $800,000 for planning Wyong Hospital’s upgrade, which will include a new emergency department, better operating theatres, extra beds and car parks.
The rest of the money will be spent on Gosford Hospital, which will also get an upgraded ED, a bigger intensive care unit and more inpatient beds.
Planning will get underway early next year.
