Byron Bay’s most iconic landmark will take on a new look tomorrow in support of World Aids Day.
The famous white lighthouse will join the Big Banana and the Grafton Market place in turning red for the cause.
New South Wales health data shows there’s been a 24 per cent increase in the number of people contracting the disease since 2011.
Experts say awareness is the best way to stop the spread.
The lighthouse will be lit up from Friday to Sunday from 8 until 11 every night.
