Tamworth’s Peel High School has won through to the final 16 in the State under 15s Basketball Championship.
Peel easily overpowered Ballina’s Southern Cross School, 58 points to 10.
The Tamworth side dominated from the outset, taking an 18-2 lead into the quarter time break.
As they took advantage of their opponents, whose team consisted of mainly netball players.
The win will see Peel take on Dubbo College next week in Tamworth for a place in the State Quarter Finals.
