US rapper Flo Rida, who was being sued by Fat as Butter concert organisers for not showing up at their event in Newcastle, has won an appeal against the action.
Organisers were seeking around $400,000 in damages after the artist, told them just minutes before he was due on stage that he wouldn’t be attending the 2011 concert.
The New South Wales Court of Appeal, today ruled in the artist’s favour because the original court order had been served on Facebook and not to the artist directly.
