A 54 year old Hamilton North man and 46 year old woman will face Newcastle Local Court today, charged with supplying drugs.
About 2.30pm yesterday officers stopped and searched a vehicle in Rankin Park, where they allege they found an amount of methylamphetamine and cash.
Police then executed a search warrant 20 minutes later on a Wilton Street property in Merewether where they located $4,900 in cash.
The male will be charged with six counts of supplying a prohibited drug, supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis, supplying a commercial quantity of prohibited drug and dealing with proceeds of crime.
The female has been charged with taking part in the Supply of a Prohibited drug
Both were bail refused to appear at court this morning.
