A 39 year old man, apparently bashed at his home in Parkwood early yesterday morning, remains in intensive care.
Neighbours say they heard two men and a woman arguing in Drysdale Lane, just before three am.
They also reported hearing tyres screeching as a car drove away at speed.
Hours later, a female housemate found the man unconscious with severe facial injuries and called paramedics.
“He’s gone to sleep afterwards and when he hasn’t got up they’ve gone in to see him and he’s obviously been worse than they thought.”
Police want to speak to any witnesses.
