CAR FIRE CAUSES SHOPPING CENTRE EVACUATION
About 150 people have been evacuated from a Central Coast shopping centre after a car caught on fire in an underground car park.
Firefighters were called to the Gosford Imperial Shopping Centre at around midday.
Two pumps are working to put the fire out and the building has been engulfed by smoke.

The fire emergency procedures of this centre need to be re-evaluated. there was still people shopping when the alarm went off & no building fire wardens to be seen. i observed.
I have to agree with the previous comment. Many customers did not know what to do. There were no instructions. No fire marshals. Security and cleaning staff just seemed to disappear. It was mostly retail staff that were guiding customers out. They also let people back into the building far too soon. It was still filled with smoke.
