CHRISTMAS DAY WEATHER FORECAST
A gusty southerly change is going to sweep across most of the NBN Northern NSW broadcast region during Christmas Day triggering widespread showers and storms.
It will be warm to hot ahead of the change in NE NSW and SE QLD.
It is going to be quite hard to dodge the inclement weather so if you have an out door lunch organised it would be wise to plan for the chance of some wet weather.
The whole system will contract to the NE during Boxing Day, clearing by Thursday. There maybe another wet weather system coming through at the end of the week.
There is going to be lots of swell so strong rips and currents will be a feature along our beaches. For surfers you’ll have to find protection from the onshore winds in the southern protected corners in the coming days.
Merry Christmas.
