Gold Coast police are investigating an incident where a man was stabbed in the back while fishing under a bridge.
Three men were fishing at Southport on Thursday night when an argument broke out with a group of seven men, who had approached them.
A 30-year-old man was stabbed twice in the back, while a 31 year-old received cuts to his face.
The two men were taken to the Gold Coast Hospital for treatment.
