There’s been a welcome twist to the tale of a nine week old puppy, stolen from a Gold Coast house last weekend.
Hugo the rare french mastiff went missing after Carly O’Loughlan’s Burleigh Waters home was ransacked.
She was devastated and offered a $2,000 reward.
But late this afternoon, there was a happy end.
A woman came forward, saying her neice saw a dog fitting Hugo’s description being dumped from a car.
Carly is now being reunited with her beloved hound.
