Moree’s Gomeroi tribe residents have been advised by their clans to stop paying rent for their homes.
Sovereign Union and National Unity Government convenor Michael Anderson has called for the radical move.
He says the Gomeroi people shouldn’t have to pay to live on their own land – and they now officially reject any foreign ownership of real estate and assets.
