A large cannabis crop with an estimated street value of $3.1 million has been discovered in Bingara, north-west of Armidale.
Officers raided a property on Upper Bingara Road at 2 o’clock on Monday afternoon.
There they found more more than 1000 cannabis plants, 132 seedlings, a firearm and ammunition.
The investigation is continuing.
