Locals return home as PM confirms ADF help

The Prime Minister has confirmed defence personnel will be deployed to the mid north coast, to help communities still struggling to access food, water and medication.

Hundreds of homes have been deemed uninhabitable, while many others remain without power.

And calls for more recovery funding are growing, with the flood disaster decimating entire agricultural sectors.
