They’re on again – the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea events are coming to your town or suburb.
In Coffs Harbour, local actress Simone Mackinnon today added star power to one of the 400 morning tea fund raisers planned for the mid north coast this month.
“I’ve had two aunts that have fought and won their battle and my dad at the moment is still sort of in the midst of prostate cancer so it’s close to home,” Simone said.
The Cancer Council raised $4.4 million for research in New South Wales last year, and hopes to top that this time around.
