Wet weather has forced Lismore Council to close all of its sporting fields until Monday, wrecking havoc on sporting codes across the Northern Rivers.
All soccer matches scheduled in the shire have been called off, Far North Coast baseball has been cancelled and Lismore Winter Cricket declared a washout.
Outside of the city, the Evans Head NRRRL clash against Marist Brothers has also been put on hold, due to soggy turf at Stan Payne Oval.
