Central Coast firefighters undertake multi-agency training exercises

March 31, 2025

Central Coast firefighters put their skills to the test yesterday, during a multi-agency training exercise at Sydney’s Emergency Services Academy.

It’s one of dozens of realistic simulations held by Fire and Rescue and RFS crews over a three month period.

Fire & Rescue NSW Superintendent, Matthew Waldon says “it’s vital that we maintain these training days”.

“It allows crews to work with each other, and it builds up their own personal skill repertoires.”

The exercises are conducted in a controlled environment where firefighters can upskill, without risking their safety.
