Labor calls for clarity around PEP-11 gas project

Federal Member for Robertson Dr Gordon Reid is calling for more clarity over the controversial PEP-11 gas project, following the Liberals’ plans to introduce a gas reservation scheme.

The scheme aims to ensure more gas remains available for domestic use, but Labor is questioning if it would pave the way for the revival of PEP-11.

But Liberal Candidate Lucy Wicks says the party has been clear in its stance.

Ms Wicks says the project will not be revived under any circumstances.
