Vital Newcastle shelter closes, while others call for funding

A vital Newcastle refuge for those in need of help will close, following the passing of its founder.

Sister Carmel Hanson died earlier this year… leaving a void at Broadmeadow’s House of Hospitality that her colleagues say simply can’t be filled.
