SUFFOLK PARK SURFER PROGRESSES ROUND 4 IN VANS TRIPLE CROWN

He left his run late, but Suffolk Park board rider Soli Bailey has progressed to round four of the Vans World Cup.
With only the one strong score to his name, the natural footer’s hopes looked dim after a challenge from Patrick Gudauskas.
But the fight wasn’t over.
With 40 seconds on the clock, the 23-year-old found himself a 3-point-2 to book a place in the next round.
Fellow North Coast surfer Stu Kennedy was eliminated.
