‘Carp to Croc’ fishing event targeting threat species on the Central Coast

Fishing enthusiasts are being encouraged to target a threat to Central Coast waterways.

Council’s ‘Carp to Croc’ muster aims to reduce the number of European Carp – which threatens native species and degrades water quality.

The Australian Reptile Park is welcoming donations of the fish, to feed their crocodiles.

The event will run from April 6… participants can log their catches online, with prizes to be awarded in May.
