
An 18-year-old man has tragically died after a single-vehicle crash in Taminda overnight.
Emergency services were called to Barnes Street at around 2am, after reports a Ford Sedan had crashed into a power pole.
The driver, a 25-year-old man, was treated for a serious leg injury and taken to Tamworth Hospital where he will undergo mandatory testing.
Two passengers – an 18-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman – were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Tamworth Hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established as an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash commenced.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
