With a cyclone forming off North Queensland at the moment,
north coast shores are starting to feel the flow on effects.
Strong winds and big swells have already hit beaches from Ballina to Evans Head.
“It’s gonna drive seas up as you can see here, its quite rough and messy. We’re not expecting it to get much better over the next few days, just warning swimmers if the beach is closed please dont swim.”
Most beaches in the region are expected to be closed over the coming days.
