New report finds flaws in Byron Bay’s 60-day rental cap policy

Byron Bay council introduced a 60-day rental cap policy in September last year – to encourage more owners onto the long-term market.

But a new report by Australia’s leading short term rental accommodation body has found flaws with the initiative, claiming it’s having the opposite effect.
