Meet the Terrigal resident clearing litter one cigarette butt at a time

For decades, Central Coast resident Alison Heathcote has spent her mornings clearing Terrigal of cigarette butts and litter – amassing hundreds of kilometres and kilograms of rubbish.

She’s become a familiar face across the community, and is encouraging others to do their bit for the environment.
