A BOOM FOR CLUBS ON THE CENTRAL COAST

Club membership on the Central Coast is booming, with a 42 per cent increase over the past decade.

A study by KPMG has shown that there are now more than 340,000 local club members, compared to almost 200,000 members back in 2000.

Clubs New South Wales chairman Peter Newell has put it down to a series of upgrades in clubs up and down the Central Coast.

He says with venues becoming more family friendly and popular with all demographics – club membership is continuing to thrive.
