Man accused of painting Nazi symbol on chemist in Newcastle
A man has been charged after allegedly painting a Nazi symbol on the wall of a Newcastle chemist in New South Wales.
At about 7.30am yesterday, the man approached the chemist on Beaumont Street in Hamilton, before allegedly painting the symbol on a side wall.
Police were called to the scene and at about 10am, arrested a 47-year-old man nearby.
He was charged with marking the shop without consent and displaying a Nazi symbol in public.
He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
