Lee Kernaghan, Gina Jefferys and James Blundell were among the new stars of Australian country music. Thousands made the pilgrimage to the Country Music Capital. Buskers on Peels Street, kept crowds
entertained.

And big crowds, meant big support for Australian Country Music. Lee Keraghan won a record four Golden Guitars in back in 1994, Natasha Beyersdorf caught up with him 30 years later, in January of this year.
