Government, community seek answers amid Maitland Gaol funding bid

The Minns Government and community groups are seeking more information from Maitland Council, about plans to rejuvenate and repair the city’s historic gaol.

Council – which manages the state-owned site – has pleaded for funding towards the more than $30-million project… but the local MP says she only found out through a media release.
