Multiple anti-coal protestors have been arrested with up to three people facing charges, after ignoring police warnings to steer clear of moving cargo ships in Newcastle Harbour.
The action has been condemned by the state’s police minister – but former Labor Minister and rock royalty Peter Garrett has backed the activist group with a concert in the park.
