MOTORISTS URGED TO TAKE CARE DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

With school holidays in full-swing Oxley police are urging motorists to take extra care on the region’s roads.
So far this year 100 people have died on New South Wales roads – with two fatal collisions in the Oxley Region in the past month.
Police are asking road users to slow down, wear seatbelts and avoid using mobile phones.
In just four weeks police have issued more than 30,000 infringement notices under Operation Merrett.
