Police were called to a home on Alice Street, Moree around 2pm on Saturday afternoon following reports of a break and enter.
Police were told an unknown man had allegedly forced his way into the home using a tomahawk. The unknown man then allegedly threatened the resident with the weapon before leaving the scene.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on Boston Street, Moree yesterday afternoon and charged to face court today.
