Dozens of climate activists staged a snap protest today, after the state government moved to bring in an exclusion zone on Newcastle Harbour – aimed at disrupting plans for a blockade of the coal port.
Protesters are now considering fighting the restriction, labelling it a ‘complete over-reach’.
