Paralympian Christie Dawes meets Westpac Rescue Helicopter officer who helped save her life

Hunter wheelchair racer Christie Dawes has opened up about the Mid North Coast crash, 34 years ago, that almost claimed her life.

The decorated Paralympian, sharing her survival story, in the hope of encouraging others to donate to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter’s new fundraising appeal.
