Newcastle’s troubled Orica Kooragang chemical plant has been given approval to re open parts of the site. The Orica Start Up Committe has lifted a prevention notice on the plant’s ammonia feed tanks. Further pressure testing of the plant is required before it can be fully recommissioned.
