A 12-year-old boy has been arrested in Armidale after he allegedly threatened a security guard at a shopping centre on Beardy Street yesterday afternoon.
It’s alleged the boy stole the knife before threatening the security officer at around 3:45pm.
He later arrested and charged with several offences including shoplifting, and intending to cause physical harm.
The boy will face children’s court on November 18.
