Central Coast Council has been given the green light on its finances by the New South Wales Audit office.
Recently audited financial reports were presented at last night’s council meeting at Wyong, and unanimously adopted.
Mayor, Lawrie McKinna says “the news was very good for the council and for the ratepayers.”
And that the surplus was $38.6 million, compared to $34.8 million last year.
Three councillors tabled the establishment of an Economic Development Committee, which will be determined in the coming months.
