After years of campaigning, work on the Manning Point Road upgrade is set to get underway within weeks.
Construction will include widening both sides of the road between Bohnock Bridge and Old Bar Road.
Work will begin before Easter, despite concerns it wouldn’t go ahead after federal funding for the multi-million dollar project was cut.
The upgrade’s expected to be complete by the beginning of next year.
