Magnitude 3.2 earthquake rattles northern NSW
An earthquake rattled northern New South Wales early this morning.
The quake struck at Barraba, near Armidale, at 3.01am, according to Geoscience Australia.
It had a magnitude of 3.2 and a depth of about 10km.
According to the Australian Climate Service, about 100 earthquakes of magnitude three or greater are recorded nationally each year.
No injuries or damage have been reported.
