Central Coast community shocked by sudden closure of vital transport service

Hundreds of vulnerable Central Coast residents have been left without transport to medical appointments and events this week, following the sudden closure of ‘Community Transport Central Coast’.

The organisation entered voluntary liquidation last Friday, following what it described as ‘prolonged financial difficulties’.

The service has promised all staff will receive redundancy payouts.

Meanwhile Transport NSW is working with local leaders to ensure alternative services are made available to clients.
